President of JUB visits Shunde Polytechnic

Dr. Katja Windt, the president of Jacob University of Bremen, visited Shunde Polytechnic in the afternoon of February 27th. She was welcomed by President Xia Wei, the director of College Office, the dean of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, and the head International Office.

Dr. Windt highly praised the environment and facilities of SP after the visit of the refrigeration and hydraulic training labs of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the system-integration labs of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, the graduation exhibition of the School of Design and the energy-saving monitoring platform.

President Xia Wei briefed the guests on the development, achievements and the recent progress of international education of SP during the meeting.

Dr.Windt introduced the related achievements and of Jacob University of Bremen, and expressed her willingness to establish cooperation with SP, and to further promote the educational exchanges between Shunde and Bremen.

Both parties made detailed discussions on the academic exchanges of staff and students and reached a solid base for further cooperation.

Jacob University is located in Bremen, Germany with a beautiful campus. Students are from more than one hundred countries with a very good international atmosphere. Students of the university won numerous prizes in international competitions.

Dr. Windt was accompanied by other members of the delegation group and Mr. Li Jie, the deputy director of the Merchants Bureau of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Service Area.
