University of Macau Representatives Visited Shunde Polytechnic

On 1st May, Mr. Ou Bingguang, chairman of University of Macau Alumni Association and representatives visited Shunde Polytechnic (SDPT) and took part in a series of cultural exchange program.


Huang Jianxiong, Chairman of the Shunde District Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Sun Min, Vice Chairman, Zhou Dongyun, Director of the World Shunde Friendship Association, Feng Jinqiang, Executive President of the World Shunde Friendship Association Painting and Calligraphy Art Club, Liao Huiteng, Honorary President, Liang Rui Zheng, Vice President and Secretary General, Huang Jiawei, Director, and Gan Muyi, Member of the Party Committee of SDPT, Dean of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade (International Education and Communication Center) and other relevant teachers attended the meeting.


In the morning, a friendly basketball match between the University of Macau and SDPT was held in the gym. The game came to an end with a score of 65-59, which also kicked off a series of humanistic exchange activities between the two universities.


During the meeting, Chairman Huang introduced the humanities, economy and local industrial characteristics of Shunde. By reviewing and looking forward to the development process of Shunde in building the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, he also encouraged young people to seize the opportunity to actively participate in the construction of the Greater Bay Area and supported young people from Hong Kong and Macau to come to Shunde for development.


Gan Muyi, Dean of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management extended a warm welcome to the guests. SDPT is willing to further strengthen cooperation and exchange with the University of Macau, based on the development needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area construction, and looks forward to deepening cooperation in the future.


The chairman of University of Macau Alumni Association, Ou Bingguang hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation through the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area platform to enhance the understanding and friendship between the two universities.


This exchange activity further deepen the synergistic development in areas such as humanities exchange and integration through a series of sports and cultural events and humanities exchange activities, contributing to the construction and development of the Shunde Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Co-operation Development Zone.
