On October 18th, Shunde Polytechnic and Luang Namtha Province of Laos held online conference for promoting vocational education international program.

The conference was attended by Somboun, minister of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Luang Namtha Province, Mitsamphanh, head of the MS Laos Training Center, dean and faculty of the School of Energy and Automotive Engineering and faculty from the International Education and Communication Center.

On the meeting, Professor Yu Huaming, Dean of School of Energy and Automotive Engineering introduced Shunde Polytechnic and refrigeration and air conditioning technology major. The international cooperation program between SDPT and Luang Namtha Province of Laos is of great significance, which will further enhance vocational education, expand cooperation and exchange, and provide strong support for "One Belt, One Road" construction.

Mitsamphanh, head of MS Laos Training Center, introduced Laos and the training center, and expressed his sincere expectation for this cooperation.

Two sides discussed in depth about professional courses, international certification of education and training standards for refrigeration and air conditioning technology. This program will be dedicated to vocational and technical skills training for local personnel and promote economic development in Laos.

The MS Training Center is authorized by the Department of Education and Sports of Luang Namtha Province, and is located in Luang Namtha City, Luang Namtha Province.
