120 Trainees from colleges and industrial fields accepted I 4.0 training at SP on June 24, 2019. The training was organized by Guangdong Aachen I 4.0 Application Research Center that is a cooperative project between SP and Aachen university Germany, and financed by Shunde government with an investment of 150 million RMB.

German I4.0 experts, Jimmy chhor, Aline kluge and Soren munker delivered lectures separately on assembly line, logistics, and manufacturing. A dynamic seminar was also carried out to discuss some hot topics that trainees were interested in.

Guangdong Aachen I 4.0 Application Research Center, located at SP, is designed for 6 functions including applied technological research, vocational education, technological training, model factory, new tech display, international cooperation platform. Since its initiation, several local companies have engaged and more than 1000 teachers and company technicians have been trained.
