On Nov.25, 2019, a delegation led by Lucia Pasqualini, the consul general of Italian consulate general in Guangzhou, visited SP for Italian 4th Food Festival and Italian Language Center Unveiling Ceremony held at SP.
 
 
As part of Italian 4th Food Festival events, Italian Chiefs displayed Italian Dumpling skills at cuisine display center of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management of SP. Chinese students interacted with Italian professionals on cuisine techniques. Tang Leijing , the Standing member of Shudne District CPC , Ou Weizhong ,the officer of Shunde Tourism Bureau , and Kuang Jinghao, the deputy office director of Shunde Foreign Affairs Department attended the activity. The consul general's speech highly evaluated the friendly and effective cooperation between SP and Italian consulate general at Guangzhou on Italian food festivals separately organized in 2016,2017,2019. Further development of win-win projects was expected. Xia Wei, the president of SP delivered welcome speech, which reviewed the history of SP international progress and expressed the confidence about constructing SP as a top level vocational college in the world.
 
Following the Italian food festival event, both the consul general of Italian consulate and the president of SP attended Italian Language Center Unveiling Ceremony Held at the School of Foreign Studies of SP. The Italian Language Center will teach students Italian language to serve potential “Belt and Road” related industries.
 
Since the interaction in 2015, the Italian consulate general and SP have conducted series cooperative activities.
