University of Macau Representatives Visited Shunde Polytechnic

On 29th October, director and representatives of Centre for Continuing Education in University of Macau visited Shunde Polytechnic (SDPT) and held a discussion on future cooperation with SDPT.

 

During the meeting, Qiu Guosheng, Deputy Director of Shunde Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office, introduced the history and development of Shunde. Luo Dan, Vice President of SDPT, introduced the current situation, educational achievements and future plan of the college. Liu Ting-Chi, Director of Centre for Continuing Education in University of Macau, introduced the history, educational features, research and innovation of the university. Several schools and departments of the college introduced the status and expressed cooperation expectations. Both parties exchanged opinions on topics such as establishing training center, scientific research cooperation, student visiting training, and international development. The future cooperation between two schools can deepen the understanding of different cultures and it has great significance for educational cooperation and exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

After the meeting, the UM delegation visited several schools of the college, including School of Foreign Languages, School of Energy and Automobile Engineering and School of Intelligent Manufacturing.
