On March 17th, the 2022 Annual Conference of Guangdong Province "the Belt and Road" Vocational Education Union was held in Guangdong Vocational Education City. Shunde Polytechnic Chinese Cuisine Prosperity Base, Promoting Shunde Culinary Skills to Global was awarded the 2022 Guangdong Province "the Belt and Road" excellent case by Guangdong Department of Education and "the Belt and Road" Guangdong Provincial Vocational Education Alliance.

The conference was hosted by the Guangdong Department of Education and the Guangdong Department of Finance, and organised by Guangdong "the Belt and Road" Vocational Education Alliance.The ten excellent cases were selected with reference to the achievements in "Belt and Road" international cooperation platform construction, overseas schooling and overseas skills training.

Shunde Polytechnic Chinese Cuisine Prosperity Base is a national international high-end platform and approved by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council in 2017, which aims to promote Chinese food culture "going out" through the exchange of Chinese food culture and cooking skills. Since its establishment, the platform has served more than 20,000 students from overseas, has provided more than 500 Chinese cooking and dining culture services to overseas Chinese communities from more than 20 countries and regions.
