On October 18, the Party Branch of the Exchange and Cooperation Office of the Guangdong Provincial Education Department (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) and the Party Branch of the International College of our university launched the Party Day themed Joint Learning and Co-construction. Li Jinjun, secretary of the party branch of the Exchange and Cooperation Office (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) of the Provincial Education Department; Huang Jianguang, member of the Party Committee and vice president of our school,responsible person of International College and Marxism College, and all Party members of both sides participated in the activities.
Li Jinjun lectured on the thematic party class combining the current international situation and the state's deployment requirements for high-quality promotion of educational opening up, analyzed the opportunities and challenges brought by the changes in international relations under the background of the hundred years situation, and shared new ideas and new strategies for better promoting international cooperation and exchanges in education under the leadership of the party building, and high-quality doing the two big articles of "introducing" and "going out" in education.
Huang Jian Guang introduced the general situation of our school and the achievements of international work, and said that our school will implement the requirements of the Provincial Department of Education, build an education and talent highland, use an open attitude to coordinate high-level "introduction" and "going out", deeply participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Education Demonstration Zone, and continuously improve the international influence of the school, and strive to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with an international perspective.
The person in charge of the International College reported on the achievements of international cooperation and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan work in our school, and said that our school will focus on serving the "output of production capacity", and build seven types of international projects,such as the "Lingnan Artisan College", and strive to be a new benchmark for the international development of local colleges and universities.
The person in charge of the School of Marxism lectured on the thematic party class of "learning and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the Party, further deepening reform in an all-round way, and promoting the construction of Chinese-style modernization". The participants conducted exchanges and discussions around the contents of the party class.
All personnel also visited and inspected the Guangdong-Aachen Industrial 4.0 Application Research Center.
