Our school was once again selected as a star school in the Asia-Pacific Vocational College Impact Index

On November 5, the 2024 Seminar on High-quality Development of vocational Education and the Fourth Chinese Council Meeting of the Sino-German Vocational Education Integration Alliance was held in Kaifeng, Henan Province, and the list of "2024 Asia-Pacific Vocational College Impact Index star colleges" was released at the meeting, with 57 overseas colleges and 73 domestic colleges and universities selected. After being selected in the "2023 Asia Pacific Vocational College Impact Index Star Schools" last year, our school was selected in the list again this year, ranking 48th in the overall list (three-star).


The "Asia Pacific Vocational Schools Impact Index Star Schools 2024" is led by the Organizing committee of the Boao Vocational Education Development Conference, the EducationPlus International Vocational Education Conference Organizing Committee, the World Skills Development Alliance, the Global Artisan Alliance, and the Europe-China "Belt and Road" Cultural Tourism Education and Economic and Trade Development Committee. Joint international vocational education research and evaluation institutions, media associations and experts and scholars jointly initiated the establishment of the "International vocational education research and evaluation Indicators Group".

Based on the Internet + big data analysis, the index constructs the impact evaluation system of Asia-Pacific vocational colleges. Through expert reviews, searching and analyzing the official websites of colleges, annual reports on quality of colleges and materials, and other data, the Impact Index of Asia-Pacific Vocational Colleges in 2024 and 12 sub-indexes are finally obtained. It involves international educational cooperation and exchange, international student mobility, teacher professional development, school-running characteristics and innovation, international service team, professional teaching standards development and resource output, education support and contribution, academic influence, international competitions and exhibitions, school-enterprise cooperation results, educational evaluation and student development, and international Internet big data (including but not limited to domestic and foreign media reports and the Internet, New media and other reporting sources classification) and other content dimensions, reflecting the influence difference of relevant Asia-Pacific institutions in 2023-2024 in the form of an index.

This selection selected more than 600 head vocational colleges in Asia-Pacific (including schools with undergraduate vocational education direction) as the research object, including China's "Double high Plan" vocational colleges, as well as vocational education standards, resources and equipment projects with international influence in Chinese provinces and recommended list of vocational colleges with high international level, etc., through a variety of ways to show the evaluation results. The combination of score, ranking, rank to rank ratio is used to understand each position from macro and micro. The college level is composed of 5, 4, 3, 2, , corresponding to the top 1-15%, 15-30%, 30-45%, 45-70%, and more than 70% vocational colleges, respectively.

The International Vocational Education Research and Evaluation Indicators Group launched the Asia-Pacific Vocational School Impact Index, which aims to support and promote the exchange of experience and international cooperation in vocational education among countries, share and promote the best practice cases of vocational and technical education, and promote the development of vocational and technical education globally. Show the latest achievements and development trends of vocational and technical education in different countries, especially in the field of higher vocational and technical education, and build a platform for information sharing, experience exchange and professional discussion exchange among countries to promote the internationalization of vocational education and achieve common prosperity of education.
