On the afternoon of November 18, a delegation of 9 people led by Zhou Qingbang, the Director General of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, came to our school to discuss cooperation. Li Xianxiang, the Party Secretary of our school, Luo Dan, the Vice President, the International College (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office), the School of Continuing Education, the School of Business, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the School of Culinary Arts, the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the School of Energy and Automotive Engineering, and the relevant personnel and teachers of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing participated in the event.

    At the meeting, Li Xianxiang warmly welcomed the delegation from the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications. He expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation on sharing international resources, building a technical service platform, deepening the mechanism for technology transformation, and leading the coordinated upgrading of vocational education and industry in the Greater Bay Area.

    Rodin interpreted the academic and professional systems of Guangdong and Hong Kong, and proposed a plan for the international cooperation direction of serving enterprises rooted in the "Belt and Road" with the Hong Kong Academic and Professional Qualification Assessment Authority and our school.

    Zhou Qingbang introduced in detail the history, business functions, and international professional qualification certification experience of the review bureau. He expressed his agreement with the plan for the two sides to cooperate on international project cooperation and said that he hoped to expand the areas of cooperation, deepen the certificate mutual recognition of the Greater Bay Area, promote the international recognition of the qualification framework, and achieve win-win cooperation.

    The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications is an independent statutory body under the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, responsible for evaluating and recognizing academic, vocational qualifications and related courses to ensure their quality meets international standards.
