On October 18, HOK THAVUTH, Vice President of Western University of Cambodia, and LONG SOVANG, Dean of Graduate School of Cambodia, visited our university. The two sides discussed deepening education cooperation and expanding people-to-people exchanges to create a path for future cooperation.
During the symposium, Gan Muyi, member of the Party Committee of our University and dean of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, introduced the basic situation of our university and the positive progress of international exchanges. Ning Shunqing, Dean of the International College, systematically elaborated the development direction and specific measures in the field of international education cooperation of the university, and shared the successful cooperation cases of the Culinary Institute and Thailand, South Korea and other countries in education projects. Zhang Zhiming, Deputy Secretary of the Culinary Institute, gave a detailed presentation on the professional advantages, teaching resources and specific projects with international partners of the Culinary Institute.
The two sides have reached preliminary intentions in the aspects of Chinese food training and cooperation in running schools, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
Subsequently, the delegation of Western University of Cambodia visited the teaching facilities, student accommodation and sports facilities of our school, and spoke highly of the solid infrastructure construction of our school. During the visit to the practical training Center of the Culinary Institute and the participation in the practical training course, the representatives of Western University of Cambodia appreciated the rigorous attitude and practical professional level of the teaching of the Culinary Institute of our school, believing that such practical teaching mode is of great significance to the improvement of students' vocational skills.
