Shunde Polytechnic went to Chitralada Technology Institute to carry out a mutual cooking skills exchange

From November to December this year, the teachers and students of the Culinary College of our school went to Chitralada Technology Institute in Thailand to carry out mutual visits and exchange activities on culinary skills.


During the exchange, the teachers and students of the exchange group were warmly welcomed by Girada College and carried out the study of Thai cooking skills in an orderly manner. The cooking course in Thailand focuses on traditional Thai cuisine, such as Tom Yum Kung soup, green curry and traditional desserts. Under the guidance of Thai professional teachers, our students deeply study the characteristics of ingredients, the use of seasonings and cooking steps, accurately grasp the details, and appreciate the essence of Thai food culture.


Teachers and students actively shared Cantonese cuisine skills in Thailand, used Thai ingredients to practice Shunde skills, explored the similarities and differences of Chinese and Thai cooking culture, and collided with creative sparks. In addition, the exchange group also participates in cultural activities, learns about Thai traditional customs and art forms, broadens international horizons, enhances cultural understanding and respect, establishes a deep friendship between teachers and students of the two schools, and lays a solid foundation for further cooperation.


The relevant person in charge of the Culinary College said that he expected the two sides to carry out more diverse and in-depth exchange and cooperation projects to promote the flourishing of educational exchanges between China and Thailand and inject new vitality into the friendly exchanges between the two countries.
