On April 7, Our university and Singapore Educare Global Academy (Abbreviated as EGA) jointly held an unveiling ceremony for the co-established “Shunde Polytechnic Overseas Teaching Center” at Singapore Educare Global Academy. The Chairman (Rodney Seah), President (Serene Tay) and Dean (Eric Lim) from Singapore Educare Global Academy, Vice President of our university(Luo Dan), the head of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the representatives of the faculty members of the two schools attended the ceremony.

At the unveiling ceremony, two schools formally signed a cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our in-depth collaboration. Our school has achieved outstanding accomplishments in China's vocational education sector, accumulating extensive institutional experience and high-quality teaching resources. And EGA leverages Singapore's unique geographical advantages to demonstrate distinctive strengths in integrating global educational resources and operating international programs. Based on two schools complementary strengths and shared vision, the collaboration aims to pioneer innovative approaches to the internationalization of vocational education, facilitate multicultural exchange and substantive academic cooperation. At the same time, the collaboration also provides a firm support for corporate globalization initiatives , and create broader, diversified development opportunities for students of both institutions.

Vice President Luo Dan stated that the collaboration with EGA is a key step in implementing their internationalization strategy. Our school aim to introduce China's advanced vocational education concepts and practical experience to Singapore through joint projects like overseas teaching centers. At the same time, our school will actively learn from global cutting-edge educational resources to enhance students' international competitiveness and global perspective. This mutual empowerment will contribute the wisdom and strength of Shunde Polytechnic to China's vocational education going global.
This cooperation covers extensive and in-depth key areas. To promote Chinese vocational education culture, both sides will establish exhibition and exchange platforms through various activities to deepen mutual understanding of traditional culture and vocational education philosophy. For corporate globalization needs, customized training programs will be jointly developed alongside international study camps to enhance students' practical skills and global perspectives. Academic pathways will be strengthened with credit transfer systems enabling Shunde Polytechnic's outstanding students to pursue further studies in Singapore through diploma-to-degree and master's programs.For overseas teaching centers, Shunde Polytechnic will provide high-quality faculty and courses to meet international standards. Regular teacher exchanges will ensure shared resources and improved teaching quality. Additionally, they will set up overseas training centers for teachers, organizing regular workshops to boost international teaching capabilities through academic collaboration.
The School of Hotel and Tourism Management stated that this partnership builds upon Educare Global Academy's global resources, multidisciplinary expertise, innovative concepts and industry insights to establish a cross-border educational bridge. It creates an international learning environment for both institutions' faculty and students while broadening their global perspectives. By combining their educational strengths through diverse collaborative programs, the cooperation aims to cultivate versatile professionals with both technical expertise and strategic global vision to meet the growing demand for internationally competent talent in global industries.
Singapore Educare Global Academy has obtained the "Edutrust" certification and is strictly regulated by Singapore's Council for Private Education (CPE). The college maintains close collaborations with world-class universities in the UK, France, Canada and other countries, offering diverse pathways for further education, with degrees recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education and other nations. As an authorized partner of the UK's National Computing Centre (NCC), it promotes global degree recognition. Recently, the college has actively integrated artificial intelligence into its programs, collaborating with British institutions to develop cutting-edge courses, demonstrating strong innovative capabilities.
