On May 28th, our university successfully completed the "English Training Program for Overseas Technical Experts" customized for LESSO Group. The program, which commenced on March 12th, spanned two and a half months and adopted a blended online-offline teaching approach. Foreign Language and Trade College instructors Zhang Zhimei and Li Yunyan delivered the core curriculum to enhance participants' practical English skills and intercultural adaptation capabilities. Additionally, Business School professor Yuan Hua conducted special lectures on cross-cultural adjustment and overseas safety protocols. The comprehensive training effectively equipped LESSO's technical specialists with essential competencies for international assignments.

The training program closely aligned with the national strategies of "industry-education integration" and "vocational education internationalization." Focusing on 10 high-frequency practical themes including company introductions and product demonstrations, it employed role-playing and scenario simulation teaching methods to equip participants with essential English skills for overseas work and daily life. Post-training assessments demonstrated significant improvement in practical English application, with participants achieving basic communication competence in business reception scenarios.
This collaboration demonstrates our university's commitment to regional economic development. Through our customized training system—"enterprise demand-driven and discipline strength-supported"—we have effectively contributed to LESSO Group's international talent development. Moving forward, the university will continue to align with enterprises' global expansion needs by providing high-quality, modular, and scenario-based language training services. These efforts will further support industrial upgrading in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and cultivate globally competent professionals.
