On September 17, the 11th WORLDDIDAC ASIA was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The vocational education segment, the Asian Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Seminar, announced the "2025 Outstanding Cases of International Cooperation and Communication in Vocational Education" selected by the Boao Vocational Education Development Conference. Our school's case, "'Three-Dimensional Embedding' Model: Building a China-Thailand Vocational Education Community with Thailand's Chitralada Technical College," was among the honored cases.
The event was co-hosted by the Worlddidac Association, the China Educational Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA), and Zhejiang Meorient Business Exhibition Co., Ltd., and organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education. It attracted over 1,000 international attendees from 35 countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Russia. Additionally, more than 200 delegates participated in the accompanying vocational education seminar.
The seminar released a distinguished casebook featuring 93 exemplary cases, including our institution's contribution. Our case showcased the practical implementation of establishing a "Cantonese Cuisine Master College" in Thailand through our partnership with Chitralada Technical College. This inclusion marks a significant enhancement to our school's global profile.
Building on the foundation of the Thailand Cantonese Cuisine Master College, the school will deepen its partnership with Chitralada Technical College and Midea Thailand. This expanded collaboration aims to cultivate a local workforce with higher education qualifications, specifically tailored for technical and skilled positions at Midea Thailand. The initiative is designed to fuel Midea's rapid growth in the Thai market while further advancing our "industry-education integration" and "vocational education internationalization" strategies.
