The school co-organized the 6th International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Systems and delivered several conference reports.

From December 5 to 7, the 6th International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Systems (ICEES 2025) was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As one of the co-organizers of the conference, our university actively arranged and sent a young doctoral research team from the School of Light Chemical and Materials Engineering to participate in the event.

Under the theme of "Promoting Innovation in Electrochemical Energy Technology and Supporting the Achievement of the 'Dual Carbon' Goals", the conference brought together top experts, scholars and industry representatives in the global field of electrochemical energy. In-depth discussions were conducted on cutting-edge research directions including electrochemical energy storage and conversion, new energy batteries, electrode and catalytic materials, and energy storage and transformation.
During the conference, Dr. Lin Yilong, Dr. Li Chen and Dr. Huang Haowei from our university were invited to deliver special reports, with the titles respectively:Battery Formation and Electrode/Electrolyte Interface Control,Application of Electrochemistry and Combined Electrochemical Techniques in the Detection of New Psychoactive Substances, and Preparation of High-Performance Coatings and Electrochemical Corrosion Testing.
Integrating their respective research characteristics, the three faculty members shared the innovative achievements of their research teams in electrochemical energy, detection technology, corrosion protection and other fields. The reports, with solid content and cutting-edge perspectives, attracted extensive attention and in-depth exchanges among the participating peers.

This participation is an important measure for our university to actively integrate into the international academic community and enhance its international academic influence. By showcasing research achievements and conducting academic dialogues on a high-level international conference platform, we have not only effectively raised our university’s international reputation in the field of electrochemical energy, but also laid a solid foundation for further in-depth international research cooperation in the future. The university will continue to encourage and support faculty and students to participate in high-level international academic exchanges, and promote the construction of relevant undergraduate vocational programs and scientific research capabilities to a new level.
