Present at the event were President Khunying Sumonta Promboon, Vice President Chaiwit Thanapaisal, Vice President Santanee Phasuk, Director Nualanong Thammajaroen, Assistant to the President Buarong Lewchalermwongse and Director of the Department of Technology and International Affairs Julaluck Kuptarat as well as relevant teachers from CDTI; Li Peng, General Manager of Midea (Thailand) Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., Huang Yuan, General Manager of Midea Kitchen and Water Heater Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Li Shuzhen, HR-COE Director of Midea Thailand Region; Yang Xiaodong, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our university, and heads of relevant departments including the International College, Academic Affairs Office, School of Energy and Automotive Engineering, and School of Intelligent Manufacturing.

At the signing ceremony, President Khunying Sumonta Promboon delivered a speech, expressing sincere gratitude to SDPTU and Midea Group for their efforts in preparing and promoting this China-Thailand dual-diploma talent joint cultivation project. She reviewed the friendly cooperation history between SDPTU and CDTI in co-establishing the School of Cantonese Cuisine Masters, which received the autographed inscription "Prosperous and Long-lasting Collaboration" from Princess Sirindhorn. She expressed full expectations for the cooperation prospects of the three parties in cultivating international technical talents through the model of industry-education integration and order-based training.
Yang Xiaodong stated that the tripartite signing is an important measure for SDPTU to deepen China-Thailand vocational education cooperation and promote vocational education going global, as well as a vivid practice of school-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation. SDPTU boasts strong strength in the refrigeration major and rich experience in school-enterprise cooperation. In this cooperation, the university will fully devote itself to the development of teaching resources and the dispatch of teaching staff, collaborate with all parties to promote the implementation of the project, jointly build a vocational education cooperation platform, cultivate international technical talents, and create a benchmark for China-Thailand vocational education cooperation, so that the cooperation vision of "Prosperous and Long-lasting Collaboration" will continue to take root in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
Li Peng said that Midea Thailand Air Conditioning Factory is the first overseas "Lighthouse Factory" of China's home appliance industry, and the development of intelligent manufacturing is in urgent need of compound local talents. This signing is a key measure for schools and enterprises to join hands in building a talent supply chain. After receiving training in both China and Thailand, students will practice at Midea Thailand Factory, cultivating international technical talents through industry-education integration, and contributing to the coordinated development of China-Thailand industries. Princess Sirindhorn has expressed her affirmation of this project.

Subsequently, the representatives of the three parties completed the online signing. This cooperation is another in-depth initiative following the joint establishment of the School of Cantonese Cuisine Masters between SDPTU and CDTI.
According to the agreement, the three parties will focus on the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering major and launch a China-Thailand dual-diploma school-enterprise order-based training program under the "University-University-Enterprise" mode with a "2+1" structure (two years of study in Thailand and one year in China for Thai students).
The three parties will jointly develop the talent training program, integrate core elements such as Midea’s job skill requirements and technical standards, and combine Chinese and Thai educational standards with local industrial cultural characteristics to jointly establish the "Midea Order Class", so as to achieve precise matching between talent training and enterprise post demands.
