By learning and practicing the Professional Foundations, technical skills, production management, lean manufacturing and IE management course, students are qualified to furniture process, production site management, Process design and product design, IE engineering as well as product sales.

The professor of the major is the vice chairman of the Chinese Furniture Association of Science and Technology Committee and Design work Committee.
