TRAINING OBJECTIVES

This major is divided into two directions, which are electronics technology and lighting technology of new energy and energy conservation. 

Electronics technology and lighting technology: Meeting the needs of Shunde and the Pearl River Delta, Applied Electronics Technology (AET) are determined to equip the students with good professional ethics and good courtesy, with the skill of circuit analysis, circuit design, manufacturing craft design and upgrading, testing and inspection, quality analysis, and product maintenance etc., with the ability for sustainable development.

   Lighting technology of new energy and energy conservation: Targeting at supporting the industry of green energy and recyclable production, this major direction attempts to cultivate talents with basic skills of the practical work and theoretical knowledge, who work on the industries of developing modern new energy, equipment maintenance, design, service and marketing of LED lighting circuit.

MAJOR CHARACTERISTIC

Applied electronics technology is the college level key constructed major, which is founded in 1999 and has powerful teaching system. So far, there are two doctoral candidates and three professional teachers who have achieved associated professors and senior engineer. We get successful in aspects of course designing and talent cultivation. So far, there are five network courses and one state-level quality course. Partnership is established with famous enterprises such as Midea, Galanz, PCCW-HKT, Vanwars, Hisense and Rainbow.
